Aarne instantly giggled and covered his own mouth to stifle the laughter that would have definitely been loud. After a moment, and walking in, he asks. "What are we doing?"
He's ready for more pranks and fun, wound up and wide awake. He tries his best to be quiet, which for Aarne is incredibly difficult.
“Labeling my brother.” Minoru snickered, also trying his damndest not to do so very loudly. He was still shirtless, so the ‘Property of Stardust’ tag was still in full view. “Which we’d better do before you cook, or we might miss our chance.”
Nothing like the smell of breakfast to wake people up in the morning, after all.
Aarne was right back to covering his mouth as he set the bag down somewhere to pull the sharpie out. The big challenge was going to be holding in his giggling while doing this.
“You’re on a roll. Whatever you’ve thought up’s gonna be better than anything I’ve thought up.” Minoru whispered back.
Truth be told, he was wracking his brain while waiting for Aarne. The best he’d come up with was ’Will do biology if we have chemistry.’ That wasn’t half as funny as the labels in the pictures. (Or in the mirror.)
Aarne started for the bedroom and then stopped to take off his boots so he could be quieter on his way in. He has to hold his breath at points so he doesn't giggle as he makes his way toward the bed and looks for the opportunity and place to write on Isamu, preferably his chest or back, though anything would work.
Keeping quiet was a struggle for both of them, but Minoru was not about to mess this up!
Isamu was curled in a fetal position, facing them. He was wearing an eye mask - practical, given that he knew he'd be sharing a hotel room with someone who’s normally up at night. He was half wrapped in covers, and he was wearing a t-shirt with some kind of math pun on it.
Compared to Minoru - who Aarne found shirtless, sans-blanket, and flat on his back (briefly, before sprawling out on his stomach instead) - this would be a little more difficult.
Aarne stares at Isamu and then looks at Minoru. "We need help."
Then he turns away and texts Rik to come help get Isamu untangled. After all, the boy had managed to change Vars' clothes and other crazy things without waking people. This was his kind of job.
"Go let Rik in." He whispers and then turns back to the bed to think this over.
Minoru rose an eyebrow but didn’t really question it. Leaving Aarne watching over a sleeping Isamu, he hurried to the door to wait for Rik. He opened it before the other man could knock, shushing him before he could say much of anything.
“Trying to prank Isamu without waking him up.” He whispered, holding back his giggles.
At least, in the meantime, he hadn’t woken up. He’d actually started to snore softly. (He swears he doesn’t snore, though, if you were to ask him while he was awake.)
Rik nodded when the door was opened. "Aarne said something about taking off his shirt without waking him up."
Rik was barefoot because he had done this before to Vars and Hunter both, for various reasons. Aarne was motioning from the bedroom door for Rik to join him. The form in the bed was all tangled up. This was going to be difficult but Rik had light touch from years of needing steady hands for music.
"Just lift up the back?"
Aarne looked to Minoru with shrug about the question. Rik stepped gently up on the bed to walk over to where Isamu was sleeping.
Rik got up behind Isamu and very gently started to move the blanket down and shirt up to expose his back. The best part of this was that he'd never see it but everyone else might know it was there. Rik had to pause more than once to cover his mouth and stifle giggles. If Isamu didn't wake, and Rik was successful, he'd climb of the bed and give the bare skin over to Aarne for decorating.
Minoru watched with a mix of excitement and trepidation. Was his brother going to wake up? Were they all going to get caught?
For a moment, it looked like they might. Isamu’s snore caught in his throat and he shifted a little. But he curled up tighter, exposing his back and providing a little more slack on that t-shirt. That was good for Rik.
Minoru covered his mouth with his hand. This was going to be great!
Once Rik got the shirt up Aarne joined him on the bed, walking as gently as possible. Pulling out the marker he nodded to Rik who was still holding up the shirt. Glancing at Isamu, Aarne started to write as gently as possible. He and Rik had been doing things like this to their own bandmates for years but this was a new person and took extra care.
Slowly he wrote: Wrong Twin, Not Stardust's. Sex twin? Tell me I'm smart. It turns me on.
Rik suddenly covered his mouth and his cheeks flared red as he tried not to laugh. How were they going to get off this bed without laughing?
Aarne took a picture of the writing and turned his phone around for Minoru to see. Shrugging and glancing at Isamu, looking for approval.
Isamu twitched a couple of times while Aarne was writing, but he didn’t wake up.
Minoru, like Rik, kept his hand firmly over his mouth to keep from laughing. His cheeks flared. Tears squeezed out of his eyes. That was hilarious. Absolutely hilarious!
The best he could do was gesture frantically to the door. He motioned for them to hurry.
Aarne and Rik retreated from the bedroom, especially Rik who needed to laugh because his lungs were burning from holding it in. Aarne dashed out after him looking all the devil he actually was in the moment.
"Breakfast?" Aarne asked between giggles. There was no way he could start cooking before he got the wild giggling and slight bouncing on the balls of his feet under control.
As soon as the door clicked shut behind them and they were safely in the hotel hallway again, Minoru couldn’t hold it in anymore. He slumped against the wall, laughing his head off.
“That’s… oh, that’s perfect… Perfect!!”
Isamu was probably going to be pissed when he actually found out he’d been graffitied, but no more so than the pickle jars, plastic flamingos, missing food or any other prank any of them had ever pulled. Good-natured retaliation was certainly possible. (And who knows, the others might get recruited for some turnabout being fair play…)
“Yeah.” Minoru nodded, wiping his eyes. “I’ll text him in a little while and tell him where to come for breakfast.”
"I'm a poet!" Aarne giggled and hugged the Dane who was crying from laughter. It wouldn't be the first time Isamu was pissed and if Aarne is honest, the next best prankster is standing beside him as a helper. He may well be safer than the twins know from potential pranks.
"I found vegetarian food finally." Aarne grinned and bounded off toward his room. Sure Joe was out cold in the bedroom but he had a kitchen in the suite and they were going to make food. Aarne put his hair up in a ponytail, a first for Minoru to see, his hair under control, but it was a must when cooking.
"Don't worry. Joe can sleep through an explosion."
Minoru could barely stop laughing the entire way back to Aarne’s suite. He managed a ‘that’s great!’ somewhere between the giggles. This really was the best prank ever.
