Robert sits with his shirt unbuttoned staring for a long time at nothing before he pulls it off. There's a reason he wears long sleeves all the time. His right forearm has several ragged scars across the area down near the wrist but the left arm is worse. One long scar right down the center from elbow to wrist, dots from stitches scars down either side. Robert had slit his wrists when he thought Tom died and it was his fault. The left arm had nearly been his end but he doesn't mention them. Doesn't want to draw attention to them. The gunshot scars are clear too, one on the back and the exit wound at the front of his abdomen.
He just lays back down on his stomach, arms folded under his head in silence. His scars disturbed him and he never talked to anyone about them except Derek who had done the same to himself once. Family marks on the brothers, matching suicide scars on the left arm.
