The Indoraptor is quiet for something so big, partly because he was made for stealth and tracking. He would be a terrible ambush hunter if he couldn't sneak up on his targets. While he doesn't hunt humans for food, he's happy to play tricks on them. Especially strangers, and Molly's definitely a stranger. He creeps in, sniffing out the food in the mix of smells that have caught his attention. The big black dinosaur is distinctive.
He approaches the stranger and gives a chuff of greeting - the way a dinosaur says hello. He's a large dinosaur, ten feet tall when he stands upright on two legs. He must have been drawn by the warmth. While Indo is warm-blooded, he appreciates heat on his scales.
